Is Aam Admi Party (AAP) all about lot of cry and no milk for the real AAM AADMI (Common Man)?
When AAP was announced by Kejriwal, there was a butterfly fluttering in billion Indian minds that, Alas ! atlast here is some hope of respite from all of those plunder, loot & atrocities committed by almost all political parties for 65 years across the board, Congress & BJP included. There was a real sense of relief & positive feeling that some sort of a change mechanism is going to be in place to check the rot that was rampant & pervasive ever.
But, unfortunately AAP is more of a joke than being a party with distinction by any standards. Let us understand why……
- They were caught on camera accepting favour in terms of money for allocating election constituencies.
- Reportedly AAP was lured into forming Govt by congress with a hidden agenda.
- There was enough of internal bickering from day one on distribution of ministerial portfolios (The MLA Binny issue and many other people like Capt.Gopinath etc joining and leaving has become a daily affair).
- AAP extended waivers, discounts and tariff cuts on water as well as power in Delhi without any plan on offsetting the dearth of income or consolidation of resources for future.(To extend freebies or introduce price cuts people don’t need a party called AAP, even a rickshaw puller, if made CM or PM can do this. What is important is the planning to execute such people friendly measures while having a road map to generate revenue, resources and consistently embark on the growth initiatives across various parameters by governing effectively & efficiently. Also having supporting policies to strictly weed out corruption or other evils of society in a steady & phased manner).
- Their law minister ended up behaving like a street goonda and had also put millions of Indian lives living in Africa at risk while bringing a lot of disrepute to Indian societal behaviour in our Capital city. (If he had strong evidence, why did he not go to the police commissioner and ensure that right measures are taken).
- Kejri’s much hyped JANATA DURBAR became the biggest comedy as AAP’s poll promise of consulting citizens at every stage happened to be a foolhardy attempt that he decided no more interaction with public thereafter.(Without taking into account on the kind of problems and public behaviour simply AAP hoodwinked people by saying they represent them in every scale and ended up creating an anarchy in Delhi by their school boyish thought and behaviour).
- Kejri went on dharna spree forgetting that its him, who is the person responsible to take up problems of people as their representative and resort to redressal mechanisms like courts or tribunals or legislatures. Instead he preferred to stay on the street to create an image that he is with people while he was not doing even a single thing that he should have or could have done, if he really wanted to be that face of AAM AADMI.
- While Congress was having fun and BJP was trying to impress upon public to show that not giving BJP full majority in Delhi is their biggest mistake, AAP coolly decides on Lokpal issue unilaterally, sets themselves a deadline and quit government blaming all other entities.(They had the mandate for 5 years and if they were really interested in making things better for public they should have fought the battle from the ruling seat which undoubtedly would have given them fullest advantage and control)
- AAP chief went to Gujarat and tried to find out that one bad school or that one poor infrastructure lapse or that one debt ridden farmer in any corner of Gujarat to debunk that NaMo’s development claim as a myth. They did not do that to any other leader or go to any other part of India to find out what exactly is the scene there as if the entire India barring Gujarat is completely well developed and trouble free. (Infact, the development parameters of Gujarat are true and most of them were formulated by central govt agencies who were under the instructions of a hostile party formation. Despite all that the Gujarat growth story could not be disproved and anyone travelling to Gujarat in past 10-12 years can easily make out the difference on many areas)
- Neither any of the AAP leaders nor AAP manifesto has ever spoken on any economic vision or development plan for India. They have not even reflected about their collective opinion or will on various issues of national importance be it Women liberty & rights, review of judiciary, administrative reforms, Article 370, Uniform civil code, economical status based reservation, foreign policy, military or defense policies, educational system development, poverty alleviation, FDI, MSME development, sports development, administration & management of oil, mineral, coal, gas resources, conservation & increment of natural resources, wildlife protection or ECONOMIC policies in a broader sense etc. etc. All they have done is to point out BJP for any supposed lapses without even verifying them completely. To also show they are neutral they rake up the issue of corruption in general and name congress for namesake which is a clear eyewash measure.
- Some of those influential businessmen or so called scholars or social activists joining AAP is doing so only with an eye on promoting their personal or business agenda as they will have the hold of power corridors if AAP manages a good show. Also they can have meaty portfolios as there is a dearth of educated top leaders in the party now. So it is simple that they want to milk the cow when it is fertile.
- AAP has been playing the communal card by cozying upto controversial Imams or approving of fatwas of Deoband just like Congress & other pseudo-secular parties. Because their interest is only to keep communities fighting and divided, while making everyone forget the fact that all are Indians first and this manifestation in truer sense itself will essentially usurp communal harmony and peace.
- The biggest election theme music of AAP was to act against corruption and till date they haven’t filed a single case against anyone or even during their rule in Delhi they failed to act against the previous corrupt congress government. Ironically, they don’t even have any scheme or long term planning in terms of systems & policies to have a focussed mechanism to bring corrupt to justice as well as lay down instruments to prevent future corruption possibilities by politicians, bureaucrats & businessmen.
- Last but not the least, AAP has not fielded their candidates against any key ministers of UPA except Kapil Sibal and also not against Sonia or Pawan Bansal or Ashok Chavan or Manish Tiwari or Salman Khurshid or P.Chiddu’s son or even Maran or A.Raja for that matter. They don’t even speak on the issue of Robert Vadra in Haryana.
In my view AAP is a PAAP for Indian people and to be precise is the AAPPU (meaning the piece of sharp wood or metal used as a wedge to keep split open) for India.
A doctor however good he may be, can only diagnose the problem rightly and prescribe the correct medicines. But only if the patient takes it promptly and as per directions the real cure happens. Similarly, Narendrabhai Modi is the Doctor now and he has prescribed the course for intake, but its upto people of India who are the actual patients, to follow the prescription or not. Finally, every Good Doctor need not practice in a Good Hospital only, it’s just that he / she needs a roof to set up office but their efforts will always bear only good. Therefore, BJP may be a good or not so good hospital, but we as Indians must focus on the Doctor called NaMo who has definitely raised hopes and is the need of the hour for India. Jai Hind.
I thank all my readers for their kind patronage till date and request them to keep checking for my upcoming new series of blogs for the season ahead. My apologies for going dormant for sometime, but the kind of global attention these writings have received, I believe it is time to open up with a recharged fervour and cover a range of social causes that deserve immediate attention.
Also I am extending hereby my special congratulations, as well as gratitude to the entire people of India, for making NaMo our next PM. While hopes may be high from all quarters, it has always been Mr.Modi’s inherent ability to surmount all odds irrespective of their scale or magnitude. The reasons primarily are, his nation first resolve and focussed to mission commitment. With the support of a billion or more Indian souls he is definitely going to set the agenda scorching on May 26th 2014 in his speech post swearing in as PM of India and that will be the threshold for the dawn of an outstanding epitome of Indian politics. The days to come will see the revolution of development governance and reformation of the face of functioning of government machinery once and for all and for the good of good.
All the best Modiji….We are with you…..Your time starts now for Sabka Saath & Sabka Vikaas….Ab Chalo Bindass…..
Mera Bharat Mahan…Jai Hind !!!!
